Delhi-Yamunotri-Gangotri-Kedarnath-Badrinath-Delhi
Day
01: Delhi
- Hairdwar (200 kms)
Arrive Delhi
Depart from Haridwar by surface.
Arrive Haridwar. On arrival visit Har-Ki-Pauni
for Deepdaan and Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay
at Haridwar.
Day 2 : Haridwar
- Rishikesh - Barkot (230 kms)
Depart after Mata Mansa
Devi Darshan. Arrive Rishikesh after Darshan.
Sightseeing of Rishikesh, visiting Lakshaman
Jhoola, Mandirs, etc.
Depart from Rishikesh and take Lunch Enroute
on the way at Mussoorie. Restart your journey
and reach Barkot in the evening after visiting
Kempty Falls on the way.
Arrive Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 3 : Barkot-Yamunotri-Barkot
(32 kms-Bus/14 km Trek round)
Again after an early breakfast leave for Hanuman
Chatti (Drive 32 kms) to start your journey.
Take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti to shorten
your trek by 5 kms. On arrival start your day
on a tough trek of 7 kms one side. Arrive at
Yamunotri and pray at Temple and also take a
holy Achman to start your most sacred pilgrimage
to Char Dhams. Come back to Barkot in the evening
to return your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 : Barkot-Uttarkashi-Harsil (152 kms-Bus)
After a relaxed breakfast leave for Harsil a
drive of 152 kms. Enroute stop at Uttarkashi
for Tea/Coffee and Lunch. One the way stop at
Gangnani for hot water spring dip (should you
desire so). Restart to reach Harsil, one of
the most beautiful valleys in the world and
check-in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day
5 : Harsil-Gangotri-Uttarkashi (130 kms-Bus)
After Breakfast leave for Gangotri and on arrival
take a holy dip in the river sacred The Ganges,
also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform
Pooja after that and relax for sometime in the
lovely surroundings.
Depart from Gangotri, Lunch Enroute.
Arrive Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 6 : Uttarkashi-Srinagar-Guptakashi (253
kms-Bus)
After a very early breakfast leave for the one
of the longest journey of the trip on the road.
Lunch and Tea break Enroute at Srinagar. After
Lunch restart your journey and today for the
first time see the river beautiful MANDAKINI.
Travel alongwith this to reach Guptakashi late
in the evening. On arrival check-in to the local
hotel / Inns for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Guptakashi-Kedarnath
(32 kms-Bus, 14 kms-Trek)
After Breakfast pick-up your packed Lunch and
leave for Gaurikund (A 32 kms drive one way)
on arrival start your journey on the tough trek
ahead. Start for the Lunch Enroute and restart
after that to arrive by late afternoon. On arrival
check-in to hotel. After freshening up perform
Pooja and also Darshan at the Shri Kedarnath.
In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya
Samadhi at the back of the temple. Dinner and
overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 8 : Kedarnath-Rudraprayag (14 kms-trek,
75 kms-bus)
After Morning Darshan and breakfast start your
journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival leave
for Rudraprayag by road to reach the Rudraprayag
in the evening.
Day 9 : Rudraprayag-Joshimath-Badrinath
(160 kms-Bus)
Early breakfast at hotel.
Depart for Badrinath.
Lunch break at Joshimath.
Restart the journey towards Badrinath.
Arrive Badrinath. Check-in to hotel and after
freshening up perform Pooja. Darshan and participate
in the Aarti. Overnight start at Badrinath.
Day 10 : Badrinath-Joshimath (45 kms-Bus)
Take holy Darshan of Shri Badrinathji and spend
time visiting Mana Village the last village
before the Tibet border.
Depart for Joshimath, Enroute Tea break at Pandukeshwar.
Arrive Joshimath. Check-in to hotel and visit
Jyotimath, Narshing Temples. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 11 : Joshimath-Devprayag-Haridwar
(280 kms -Bus)
After early breakfast leave for Haridwar.
Arrive Srinagar. Lunch Break.
Leave for Haridwar, Enroute if time permits
visit Devprayag (The confluence of the rivers
Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, to become Ganga).
Arrive Haridwar. Visit Temples, Ganga Aarti.
Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 12 : Haridwar-Delhi
(200 kms - Bus)
After Breakfast leave for Delhi.
Arrive Delhi.
